RIDE SAFELY, TAKE IT TO THE TRACK....

- It seems you are always at the track racing a motorcycle, how old are you and how do you manage your education given you are never at school? I'm 17 years old and attending Year 12 at High School. It's a pretty tough job to keep up, but I manage by taking some work away with me to race meetings and the rest I catch up on when I'm back at school. Both my school and teachers are very helpful and understanding, they offer plenty of support and help ensure that I stay on track.
- Your Dad follows you all over the country to race, most teenagers barely speak to their parents, you two must have a great relationship? My father and I live together and travel everywhere together when it comes to bike racing. Our relationship is quite strong and we are both passionate about motorcycle racing. We have a primary goal and are dedicated to achieving that goal, without one another it's impossible.
- You had your first foray into International competition this year, did it make you hungry for more? I raced in Malaysia for Round 1 of the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) at the end of May. I really enjoyed it and it was a great experience which I have learnt a lot from. I'm certainly looking forward to doing more races overseas.
- Where do you see yourself riding in 5yrs if everything goes to plan? Ultimately, I'd like to be racing in the premier class of Moto GP. That probably sounds a little bit unrealistic but it's not impossible and I feel that it's important to have a goal and a vision.
- Have you had any offers for a ride next year, here or overseas? No offers have been made yet for next year, I think I'll have to wait for a little bit later in the year for that.
- The California Superbike School has helped you out recently, do you think more racers could benefit from an experienced ride coach? The California Superbike School have been an imense help for me, even since the junior days in the MRRDA Series. I have worked really closely with them since the beginning of 2010 where I've had a personal riding coach at every round of the ASBK. The CSS have been a huge benefit with the development of my riding technique and skills. I believe that there is a benefit to made by any rider, whether they're a racer or road rider, that participates in the schools at the CSS. Their unique program makes it easy to understand the most efficient way to ride a motorcycle.
- If you couldn't ride a Yamaha next year, which bike would be your choice to ride, not necessarily a 600, perhaps even a 1000? If I couldn't ride a Yamaha next year, I think the bike I would like to ride would be a Moto2 bike, possibly with the Moriwaki chassis.
- Pick a team running this year, any team world wide, where would you like to ride? The team I would pick would be the factory Moto GP Yamaha team. It would be an absolutely awesome experience to ride for a world class Moto GP team.
- When you are old enough, will you ride on the street? I probably wouldn't ride on the road, I see it as the safer option.
- Multiple last question, give us your favourites, food, colour, hot actress, PS3 game?
Fav Food- TortelliniFav Music- I like most types of music, no particular favorite.Fav Colour- Blue-Yamaha ;)Fav Video Game- Don't play them anymore
